Tread on Trafficking launch for LOVE 146

Jun 4, 2012

Tonight we, The San Clemente Abolitionist, will be launching our efforts to support Love146’s Tread on Trafficking Campaign at our favorite wine and cheese bar, The Cellar, located in downtown San Clemente from 7-9PM.  We will be introducing the organization Love 146, their Tread on Trafficking campaign, and giving all in attendance the opportunity to sign up for a exercise class or join a team leader to run, walk, hike, or stand up paddle.
Last year one of our team leaders, Rob Rojas, paddled for 24 hours and won the Most Awesome award from Love 146. Rob will again be there tonight encouraging others to join him. There will also be an opportunities to sign up to take an exercise class with local physical therapist, Kristin Massamiri, and local gym owner, Gia Lucy. Kristin will be leading a dynamic stretch class and Gia a Zumba class. Both classes will be held June 16th at San Clemente Presbyterian Church from 8-10AM. Also, new to our line-up will be a weightlifting day at San Clemente Gym. Owners Gia and Eric Lucy will be coordinating efforts June 30th all promoting the Tread on Trafficking campaign.

There will be something for everyone and every age, so come on out!!!
